Connor invited every Republican candidate for president to debate him on the show. Mitt Romney officially turned him down. We thought the bit would be that we’d cut to him looking sad in an empty row of chairs. BUT – Jimmy McMillan accepted his challenge very unexpectedly. We scrambled and put together a debate, and this was the FIRST episode of the show where we really nailed it. It only took 19 weeks.
