[Public Access] TCGS #23 | Sandwich Night

We thought everyone on the cast and crew would be out of town for Thanksgiving. I was telling Shannon that I wanted to do a low key show where we ate food for Thanksgiving on the air but didn’t want to do turkey or whatever. She said “Let’s have sandwiches.” I was like “Cool, we’ll call it sandwich night.” I threw up a link on Twitter and a YouTube video announcing it, thinking nothing would come of it. The next day, a hundred plus people showed up ready to eat. I spent so much money on sandwich supplies, we wound up with one of our best episodes of all time, and a legitimate holiday was born. I don’t know that we’ve topped this episode.
